About Dr. Collazo
Dr. Collazo graduated at the top of her class from Carlos Albizu
University, San Juan, P.R. with a degree in Clinical Psychology.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association and has been part of the Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women Psychologists and Who’s Who Among American Students Lists. During her more than 18 years in the field, she has worked with several different patient populations including psychiatric patients, those with chronic medical conditions, sexual abuse victims, severely emotionally disturbed children, trauma victims, and people who are interested in emotional and physical well-being.
She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET). EMDR and NET are powerful interventions that can rapidly assess and alleviate the consequences of stressors that are creating barriers to health and success. By using Cognitive-Behavioral techniques in combination with these interventions it is possible to make rapid, positive, healthy changes in your life.
